On Friday 7th October our year 5/6 girls football team took part in a long-awaited tournament, having been cancelled last year due to COVID cases and rearranged twice this year due to weather, they finally took to the pitch and they did not disappoint. Definitely a win!

On Friday 14th October, our year 3 and 4 football team competed at a tournament at The Valley Academy. We were placed into a group with teams from St Paul’s and Haslingden Primary. Each match was hard fought and close, with two excellent goals being scored. Our defence worked incredibly hard with superb tackles and great passes down the wings and the midfield didn’t stop running. A great event with some excellent play from everyone. I’m looking forward to seeing what this team can do in the future.
